    Ebay:
So I got a new video camera (SDR-H18 Panasonic) and when I put the SD card in my computer there is a folder that reads "SD_VIDEO" and inside there is two more folders "MGR_INFO" and "PRG001"

Inside "MGR_INFO" there is two files that are named "MGR_DATA" and "PRG_MGR"

    Inside "PRG001" there is a "MOV001.MOD" "MOV001.MOI" and "PRG001.PGI"

And my question is, HOW THE HELL do I get a single movie file that I can open in iMovie -Question Mark-

iMovie on the mac? I did this a while ago, but you should be able to plug the camcorder to the mac via firewire.

In iMovie, change the source to 'firewire' then it should pop up a small window that allows you to preview the camcorder video.. press play on it and you should be able to capture it that way.

It will save the movie in quicktime format and then you can use iDVD to drag and drop the video clips then burn it onto disc.

I hope this helps as I'm going by memory (from a project I did about 5 years ago).
