The Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, Audioslave, Nickelback, Eminem, D12, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, John Mayer, the soundtrack to the movie Cars, the soundtrack to Transformers....

    That's a start, anyway.

Great, slightly off the radar bands that others may not mention whose CD's I think have held up well. Not sure what you like but if you dig this style of music these are all great.

Brendan Benson(Lapalco or One Misissippi), Grandaddy-The Sophtware Slump, Jellyfish-Spilt Milk(My personal favorite album), Monster Magnet- Dopes to Infinity, The Capital Years, The Dandy Warhols-Come Down, Gomez(all are good but I prefer In our Gun or Bring it on), Islands-Return to the Sea, Mojave3-Excuses for Travelers(rather mellow but a great cd), Neutral Milk Hotel- In the Aeroplane over the Sea, The New Pornographers-Electric Version, Redd Kross- Phaseshifter, The Soundtrack of our Lives-Behind the Music. The Unicorns- Who will cut our hair when we're gone.

I highly recommend The Black Keys, a most excellent rock duo. Picked up their newest album Attack And Release because Danger Mouse was the producer and it was most excellent so is their older stuff.
