I think his back kibble would be too difficult to work around.

 

It could but it's the wrong jet type and it's just an all around transformer figure. The legs are set up nice enough to ensure enough separation between feet and I'm sure some couplings could be made but I'd rather see something akin to Hercules. All new.

Isn't the Starcat combiner supposed to be based on Defensor? I would like to see Computron as well.

 

I don't think it's based on Defensor, but they will make a repaint of it based on Defensor, if I remember correctly.

My Decepticons are outnumbered immensely by Autobots on my shelves, even with FP Insecticons and a few extra Scourges. It's almost one Con to every 1.5 Bots.

 

Now this has been something ive been thinkin about. Since Herc I feel all the combiners need to be done in his scale

 

I'd like to see some more Autobot Combiner or bigger Autobots (Omega Supreme, Metroplex, PM Prime, Quickswitch or Sky Lynx) love from the 3rd Parties, but I'd rather see Abominus and Predaking first...since they are my favorite combiner teams from either side hands down.

I feel like even though FP Superion isn't the most ideal version and could be improved upon or redone, Defensor is better suited for a 3rd party version, especially if it's FP doing it. Him standing up to Bruticus, which seems to be the gold standard for combiners as of right now, sounds awesome.

 

He could work with Deluxe figures but it requires a lot of modifications.

Unless you slap on a Unicron crotch and Primus arms

 

So, it would take some attachment pieces like with Bruticus, or much more involved due to it not having any design specs for combining?

 

I would think that Defensor is the next logical Autobot combiner to get the 3rd party treatment. He'd make a good foil opposite Menasor. Computron seems to be getting a lot of fan love (understandably), but I do hope that Superion gets another look down the line. Probably way down the line.

 

The legs would need connectors at the knees but the arms would require more thought.

Unless they used 4 of the same seeker mold with slight changes.

I always thought Defensor would be the easiest to do since most of the molds are already out except for the bike.

 

Personally, I'd wanna start with Computron. He always looked the coolest to me, though Defensor is right behind him.

 

How about a 3rd party RailRacer add-on passenger car, to beef him up to FP Brut, MT Giant proportions and more weapons or something?

 

Cons combiners has always tipped the scale..

But yeah,as a starting point, they should come up with Defensor. He needs revamp big time..
