My PS3 WFC is all glitched up and I can't play the Autobot campaign, but I have the game on PC, but a virus messed up my computer can I can't play THAT so I deleted it, and now, 2 years after I bought the game, I lost the keycode thing, and can't install it. Is there any way to get a new/retrieve the code from the site? Because another game I play lets me retrieve the keycode...

You know what, you bought the game, I see no hurt in just downloading the bit torrent file and install it

Do you still have the package with the UPC on it? You might be able to email the company with that info and get a new cd key, or even a copy of your old one.

I do have the box... I'm not sure if it has/what the UPC is, though.

You lose the keys to your car. Do you buy new keys or do you steal your neighbor's car?

just rebuy the game. It's damn cheap now.

Yeah, okay. I was just hoping I could get a new code instead of spending.

I don't think you need to get new keys OR steal your neighbor's car.
Email the company, tell them about your problem. If you can prove you really have the game, and really lost the code, they'll send you a new one. Happened to me with a different game. Followed the above steps, and boom, new code recieved in email.

Over the years I've lost a few cd keys and thought they should really print the cd key on the disc lablel itself. Seems to me it would save lots of headaches since manuals and other things with the key can get misplaced. Being printed on disc it can never happen unless you misplace the disc in which case you would need to buy a new copy anyway.

IIRC, that's how PC games were like a few years ago. I remember around 5 or 6 years ago, all my games were like that.

Not a perfect analogy; in this case, if you steal your neighbor's "car", they still have it and you have it too. (Not that I'm in favor of piracy in general, but this is an exceptional case.)

That said, I can't imagine there's not some sort of support system in place if you have any sort of proof that you bought the game (or maybe even if you don't).
