LOL! nope not that, they're going AIEE-AIEE-AY! and it's not Alanis either man this sucks, i'm slowly going insane.
It'd help if you at least knew the genre. Pop? Alternative? Hip-Hop? Techno? Edit: here is another song that came to mind. Back from my clubbin days.
It's Pop-rock I believe. and it's not just sort of general AIEEYAIAEE sounds, it is a very specific "AIEE-AH", sung only twice at a time (aiee-ah! aiee-ah!) i just talked to my sister who also remembers it, and she said that she thinks the singer is actually male.
damn, i thought i was the only one. 90s was a great time. i hate that i cant remember half of this decade.
it might be a bit much, but could you record yourself singing what you know, or your sister if she wants. it could help getting an better idea.
The song didn't start off with what you remember did it? I feel like I know this but can't remember it.
god that brings back memories of my dad who died 2 years ago when i was in 6th grade. Listening to that actually is making me tear slightly T.T
Are you mistaking "AIEE-AH" with "Maria"? It's a song by Blondie which came out in 1999. YouTube - Blondie - Maria
No idea on the song but I feel for ya There are several songs I want that I even have a few lyrics to that I'll still never be able to track down. GL
no one's gotten it so far it sucks that the AIEE-AH is all i remember. it's part of the chorus i'm pretty sure. the vocalist sings a line of lyrics and then goes AIEE-AH! AIEE-AH!, then sings another line, then again with the AIEE-AH! AIEE-AH!
nah man definitely not sting. again, it's a very specific thing: the chorus has the vocalist sing a line of lyrics, then go "AIEE-AH!, AIEE-AH!", then repeat. this sucks it's making me so angry! I NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS TO GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!
No offense dude, but just giving us "AIEE-AH" and no legible lyrics is like asking, "there's this food I really like and the only hint I can give you is that it tastes good." Before you could get Shazam and put your iPhone or iPod Touch up to a speaker to tell you the song, my rule of thumb was that if its a good song, you'll hear it again.
