I don't know what to do - get a leader Optimus Prime or a 2-pack with voyager OP and concept Camaro Bumblebee??
It really depends on your tastes. If you're actually going to "play" with your toys and not just pose them for show, the 2 pack is the way to go. I don't have a Leader Prime, but my friend does, and his main complaint with it is that it's way too unwieldy and clunky to actually mess around with on his free time. That's a stark contrast to the Voyager Prime, who probably has the most solid torso of the whole line. The waist doesn't separate from the legs, the chest doesn't split apart at the seams; it's just really solid. Everyone bags on the Voyager for having a backpack, but frankly, I think the backpack looks really good, and doesn't do anything to hurt the appeal of the toy. Personally, I'd get the 2-pack because the Voyager is hands down my favorite movie toy I own so far, and hell, everyone's clamoring to get a Concept BB, so in my opinion, it shouldn't be up for debate.
Leader Prime. Then snag the Bumblebee 2-pack when it comes out. Thats what Id do. You'd have a good Prime, and both Bumblebees.
^ You could do that... or save yourself even more money - and the horror of owning a terrible TF - and don't get that two-pack. Stick to a single '08 once they become more common.
Movie Leader Prime FTW! Best toy since alts and classics, and it's really posseable and fun to play with.
Who knows?? I don't live in Canada or USA, and to tell you the truth, I'm sick of importing. Why would I need a second '77 camaro BB?? Shit, I'm still totally undecided. It's either a leader OP for $83 or a 2-pack imported from UK for $50 (that's without shipping fee which I do not know how much it will cost).
If you have the painting skillz, get LP, then paint him real well, then sell him high on eBay, then get another LP and the 2 pack
I'd get both, but if you're on a budget and can get only one, get the 2-pack. I have both the Leader and Voyager (Robovision) Primes and I love 'em equally. On June 2 when they first came out I only got Robo Prime at first, but then later in the day I broke down and got the Leader Prime, as well. I couldn't help it. I'm addicted to TFs!
Once I got Leader Prime, RV Prime becamse a shelfwarmer. LP is just more fun to transform, play with, and pose. Plus, he has a horn in alt mode. He pretty much the MP version of movie Prime. I suggest getting LP and then Bumblebee later on by himself.
My personal opinion is to get Leader Prime since it's far superior to the Voyager mold in every way. But again, just my opinion.
Thanks for your help guys and gals. After a hard and long pondering I have decided to not buy a movie OP (any version) at all. I'll only buy movie figs I really like. I grew up with G1 cartoon and I'd rather save some pretty doe for classics 2.0 Sunstreaker, Octane, Ironhide and Sideswipe, because when I ask myself who would I choose if someone put movie toys and classics G1 characters before me, classics G1 wins every time.
Would get the 2 pack for now and wait for leader Prime's price to drop since a repaint is coming. He may even go on clearance. Tough decision, either way you can't go wrong. If you play with your figs then leader Prime may be too big , the voyager size is probably a better scale to work with. Voyager Prime = good for play Leader Prime=good for display
