    ...this spider

    it was on the panaling outside of my laundryroom door

    cybertron galaxy force vector primes sword is to show the size of the spider

    this is about the same angle, closer up (and zoomed in so i didnt have to get too close to it **shudders**)

    please help me in figuring out what species of spider this is

    and thanks in advance for your help

    it has been identified

    well, the pics dont show everything, but it was larger than any brown recluse gets (at least here in washington)

    and the markings on the abdomin do not look like the markings on a brown recluse either

    It's a European House Spider. When I lived in Tacoma/Spanaway I'd get them a lot this time of year as they were getting ready for winter and coming inside. Mildy poisonous, but nothing more than a welt on a human. Might hurt a smaller animal, but I'll take a dog in a fight any day of the week.

    after i killed it i tossed it off the lid of the tidy cats cat litter bucket into the backyard

    after i did that i figured i should get pics of it dead, but i couldnt find it again

    i could get a pic of one of its legs

    That's O.K. That was one freaky spider. I would have thrown a 2x4 at the thing, or maybe just shoot it.

    That spider looks familar. I think I saw one of those eating a (Dead) Bird in my backyard.
