Hello, I'm one of those kids of the 80s who maintains an interest in G1 toys but doesn't know much that has happened since. I could use a little expert info. :)

Is this just a basic Megatron reissue? Is it complete?

This gun is VERY similar to G1 Ransack's concussion blaster gun. Did all Ransacks come with a black gun, or is this a variation of his weapon? If it's not a G1 weapon, can anyone tell me about it?

I don't think these are G1 accessories. Does anyone know which toy they belong to?

    Thanks! :thumb

The Ransack gun is probably from the original Japanese toy line (Beet Gogul, or something?), which I believe the deluxe insecticons were licensed to Has/Tak from. The last parts are Zoids accessories. The Megs is complete, but is a knock off. The orange pistol tip (instead of plug) and the red bullets are the tells.

    JP version? What's that? :inquisiti

But does the orange-painted pistol tip definitely identify mine as a KO?

It has a rubsign- of course, many KOs today do, but I wasn't aware that there was a KO Megatron with one.

    Is the three-barreled weapon Hoist/Trailbreaker's head-mounted accessory?

The gun is a K.O I've had it too, albeit its of good quality. The orangegun tip, the washed chrome, the grey colours and the way Megatrons head is painted doesn't match the original Megatron, so that's why it's quite easy to tell it's a K.O.
The rubmark may be a reprplabel one that has been applied.

    Pic' of original Megs'

Yeah, it's quite possible the previous owner put the rubsign on the KO Megatron because he also had what is pretty obviously a KO version of Microx -- also with rubsign applied.
