Are you on Firefox? You can get a plugin called Adblocker Plus that will knock it out.

    I'm on Internet Explorer.

I think that only works on pop-up ads. It's not a pop-up, though. It's one of those mini banner-style ads that appears on Youtube itself.

Why? Now I'm curious. What reasons are there for me to switch to FireFox on my computer at home, when I use a computer that has FireFox every fortnight when I visit my father?

And besides, I've seen how Adblock works; it wouldn't do anything against this sort of advertisement. Anyone here that has a Youtube page knows about those ads that appear above new videos from their subscriptions, right? For those of you that know what I'm talking about, it's that type of ad.

well the first reason id that FF is alot faster and you can do so much more with it. I started using FF from IE about a year ago ive never looked back nor do I even want to

as far as ads I never get any pop ups from YT because I have most of them blocked. the onyl thing Adblock cant block is ads with heavy flash in them, you can block those in some instances but ive found that most cant be taken out.

Nope. You know why? I have Adblock Plus - I never have to look at ads on YouTube.

Some ads may be trickier to kill than others, but nine times out of ten, I don't have to do a thing. Biggest problem I recall were those hyperlinks within a forum's text, but it took about five minutes to remove that.
