I need a G.I. Joe expert(UPDATED pics inside)! I was reaquainted with some old friends today...and I need some help ID'ing some parts. I spent the last couple of hours reuniting pieces of tanks, planes, boats and otherwise 'till I'm almost out of ideas. Is there a source of 'Joe info akin to tfu.info? Here are a few pics of the Joes, and other friends I found: Before cleaning: After cleaning:
You can also try YoJoe.com. Check out their archieves of the old toy catalogs: http://yojoe.com/catalogs/
Hehe, my Grandpa owned a toy store when I was a child. I was never spoiled, but I did get just what I wanted at Christmas/birthday times, if that makes sense. The Raven is 100% there too
I think there is this place called www.yojoe.com or something like that. I think they have something to do with Joes.
Yah, yojoe has everything. Those pics reminds me a bit of the floor of my bedroom back in the day. I didn't have that many, though. Great stuff!
Don't know if it was mentioned, but there's a site called YoJoe.com that's has good info. It's pretty solid
I think I may go check out yojoe.com, if they have anything to do with G.I. Joes that is I'm actually making great headway assembling these back to their prior glory. I'll be needing support in the coming days, as my wife isn't happy at all on the new convergence...
If you're looking to move any of the pieces, I'd be interested in the Tactical Battle Platform for a custom job I have an idea for.
I've pondered it, but the Platform isn't without issues. One tab on the ramp is broken, the missile launcher is present with all four missiles but its base is broken, a tab is broken on both the missile launcher and the gun bases, and the radar dish is broken and so won't attach to the gun. I'm yet to find the spotlight as well. I'm considering repairing it but doubt I'll have the space to store it considering the relative footprint of it compared to the vehicles.
I forgot to mention that Bigfoot! I had him. He was an awesome toy, the levers control the motorized wheels, I think one lever was slow/fast and the other 2WD/4WD. That was one tough truck, too, I beat the crap out of mine, and I never broke it. Man, that brings back some great memories
all i can say about those pics is: Blasphemy!!!! all that dust and disorganization.... blasphemy! i will give em a good home, honest. (Snickers)
