For me, personally, I think that CN's glory days were the late 90's and early 2000's when they showed the Cartoon Cartoons. All these goodies were really entertaining to watch. "Dexter's Lab", "Cow & Chicken", "The Powerpuff Girls", "Ed, Edd n Eddy", "Courage the Cowardly Dog", "johnny bravo","Sheep in the Big City", "Codename: Kids Next Door", those were all the best toons to define the word "entertainment". They also had "Toonami", which was a block of great Japanese cartoons like "Dragon Ball Z", "Outlaw Star","Gundam wing"and even "Hamtaro". I'm such a sucker for Japanese cartoons.

It's not like today. Cartoon Network no longer cares about classic cartoons or even the Cartoon Cartoons! Now, we've got nothing but crappy shows like "Camp Lazlo","my gym partner's and monkey" and "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" while the other shows we all loved are out in the dust. The only Cartoon Cartoon remaining on the network is "Ed, Edd n Eddy", and the only classic cartoon playing on the network is "Scooby-Doo".Also, they got rid of Toonami entirely!the only shows they acually play is naruto and one piece.

and I also miss cartoon cartoon fridays now all they have is this fried dyanamite crap.

and just for the record this is the opinion of a 13 year old :)

Get used to shows dropping off the airwaves over time, it happens. But the problem with cartoon network is that it's quality has gone down the gutter.

CN started crappy. Remember when people used to nickname it "The Scooby-Doo Network"? The quality of their programming may fluctuate, but it's still better right now than it was in their first couple of years.

Also, Thundercats is decidedly not Japanese. It's American produced and written with Korean animation. :)

Cartoon Network's pretty much rotting in hell right now, and their only saving grace is Adult Swim, which also is starting to suck, too.

My favorite was when Saturday night gave us Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, and Megas XLR.

Meh, networks have their ups and down. When you wear nostilga goggles everything looks better.

Maybe CN will have better things to come.

I still can't get over how absolutely terrible the new Toonami is. I remember when it actually entertained me. :(

*snrk* Soundwave47's a bit young for that? Man we're OLD. XD. But yeah. I miss old-school Nick more then I miss old-school Cartoon Network. Nothing like refusing to go to Sunday School because you wanted to stay home and watch Ren and Stimpy. <3
