Thats right folks, I just opened my brand spankin new Encore Skylynx this afternoon and guess what I did? RIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! Thats right, while applying one of the long gold stickers that go on the side of the shuttle, I ripped it in half I don't know how the hell it happened, but it did, and I must say I was very angry. It was the kind of rage where you sit there and do nothing but blink. I put it on, but I can see the rip staring back at me. So is anyone else a complete moron like me? Also should I even bother trying to email Tak/Tomy for a replacement sticker, or should I just buy replacements from Reprolabels?
Ouchh that sux man. Afetr applying all the stickers on my Encore Sky Lynx and transforming him 2 times a small piece tore off on one of the stickers your talking about. Its not bad but I know its there. Reprolables are more durable and I am ordering those next week sometime.
the same thing happened with the original Skylynx for years mine sat with a ripped gold sticker, the edge's eventually peeling back untill I replaced it with an unused sticker sheet of e-bay... but yea your best bet and least costly would to be hitting up Delta..
They are printed on very, very, very thin paper and have a very cheap feeling to them. I was being extra careful, because I had a feeling rippage was going to occur. The figure is awesome, but the stickers are balls. I laughed about it yesterday. I was less pissed after I put the batteries in and made it walk. So damn cool. After all of these years, no matter how many new gimmicks toy companies come up with, making things walk is like the greatest thing ever. Reprolabels it is!
Same thing happened to me actually, however I don't remember the original ones being much better in quality (which should've tipped me off... oh well). Can anybody comment on the quality of the Reprolabels Sky Linx stickers? Just wondering if they're better.
