On ebay, good condition for 15 bucks.

I guess this kind of thing is commonplace when dealing with evilbay, but I'm sorta new to the scene. I was sorely tempted, and came so close to buying the thing, but I let it go, and the auction ended at that price. I don't have a lot of extra money, and I'm definitely saving for the coming months, and I can do without splurging online. But 15 bucks... something tells me I might not see that kind of deal again. But that's 15 bucks still under my name, and there might be other things. I guess ebay can be extremely exciting in this regard, never know what you might find/buy. I think I'll survive, I got a bunch of current figures I wanted this week, I don't want to start spoiling myself. :p  But I'll be clinging tight to my Cyb. Megatron for the next few days(yes, I do have the mold already).

So to enable discussion, has anyone ever passed on a good deal? Why? Anyone have any stories of online TF steals? Did I miss anything by not getting this guy?

Alt modes are still pretty indifferent, but that silver finish does wonders for the robot mode.

If it makes you feel better, don't assume that $15 was as high as the other guy was prepared to go. Usually cheers me up, anyway.

Best ebay deal... got my MIB THS G1 Convoy for £26 posted, IIRC. Pretty damn happy with that then and especially now. Just wish I'd bagged a Black THS Convoy as well.

You'll regret this. I own it, and let me say, me and my brother are thinking of modding a Cybertron Megatron to have a "Time for Tubby-bye-bye" weapon. :lol

I passed up on a lot of great figures in my day. Every night, I lay awake, constantly second-guessing myself.

    Always go with your gut.

Bad move. He is an awesome figure. I wish they would use that silver more often.

    Ebay:
Yeah, like everyone else said, you're gonna regret that.

Best deal I ever got was a BWR-12 Megahead Megatron for $12, not including shipping and handling, which was $18 since he was coming from Australia. I am so glad I bid on it, at first I thought I wasn't going to even bother, since one I was watching on eBay ended at a BIN for like $90.

In the end, if you see something you want and it's a deal, GO FOR IT.

cybertron galvatron and megatron are pretty underwhelming....the robot design is neat...except when you get to the block duck looking feet....

be glad that you skipped it...i have one and really do not care for it too much...

I have both paints now, and I got lucky and got my Galvatron for $15 on E-bay as well(this was like 2 years ago). He is awesome and I hope you find another auction like that again. He is even cooler with the Nemesis Breaker Dark Claw mode, the Arm is huge but the paint matches perfectly.

Look on the bright side, now you can start looking for Energon Galvatron, which is a much better figure in my opinion. :D

Although Cybs Galvy is pretty cool as well, $15 isn't a bad price at all.

    ^^^ This. ^^^

I passed up that huge Cybertron Metroplex, brand new MISB for less then $20. I've consistently kicked myself over that for a couple years now. Especially since every time I've found him since he's around $80.-$85. *sigh*

You should've taken the shot, man.

Never passed up on any desired eBay deal that I knew I could easily win. Unfortunately, I did have many I regretted sealing AFTER I got the goods.

I would regret it if I were you. It is an awesome mold, with an even better deco.

At the end of the day it's just a toy.

A toy, IMHO, that isn't worth it.

If you did end up grabbing it for $15 and couldn't really afford to keep it, you could always resell it for a lot more... You should have gone for it.
