From Digital toys. The site did not say it would be modified. They clearly state that MP-05 would be modified.

Has anyone ordered one or know for sure if it being shipped unmodified?

I hadn't heard of anyone modifying the re-issue. Stores either would sell it, or they wouldn't, but I don't believe anyone modified it.

Thanks. I guess the only one I saw saying they would be modifying it was BBTS. I hope I get a good one.

    Ok, I'm confused...

Are you referring to the re-issue G1 or the MP-05 Megatron?

The re-issue G1 Megatron isn't in any danger of being modified at all... it's an older re-issue that's been out for a few years.

The NEW MP-05 Megatron is the one that is being modified by several retailers (and rumored to be by TakaraTomy, but we'll see how that plays out) while some others have said that they will not be modifying it. Just depends on what the site you order it from says.

I meant G1. BBts selling the modified one made nervous reissue megs

Sounds like I shouldn't worry about it though.

As stated, MP-05 will be modified from a number of sites. Re-issue Megatron never was modified, though I suppose if a new reissue comes out, there's a possibility it may be.

I wonder if the MP-05 controversy is just for publicity. Reissue Megs doesnt have an orange cap issue, and it looks more realistic in the sense that it is closer in size to a real gun.

Ah ok... yeah, I wouldn't worry about getting a modified G1 re-issue Megatron.

That never really made any sense to me either. The same online stores that are modifying the MP-05 are the same ones that sold the re-issue without worrying about modification or safety laws.

Actually it's probably a marketing ploy. 1st we will get a Megtron with an orange cap. Months later we will get the "intended" version without the orange cap. Most of the fanbase will have bought two!
