They come with jet engines now!!!
Yeah...I couldn't resist.
I remember that joke from....last summer.
I take it that these wadded-up-Gundams aren't quite so well-loved around here as they seem to be on certain other web-boards.
How funny, I just found a few of my old Rock Lords at my parents the other night. They were decent and easy to change toys as a kid.
I love mine, dammit. Well, Prime at least. Starscream is a bit meh.
I liked Rock Lords so I find the comparison to be favorable
Personally I can't wait to get them.
i LOVE rock lords, and thats honestly part of my appeal towards getting these 2....i would buy more of em too....
and im 18 figures away from all the cool rocklords....i will finish them someday....just not those stupid weird ones with fur and crap....just plain old rocks for me....
I actually like these toys, just couldn't help myself from bringing the joke back.
My favorite rock lord was Nugget, btw.
His name is OWEN HART, dammit!
your prime pic is mistransformed
Stock photo? lol
Ooooo shiny! I had Nugget, Tombstone and Rock Roller I think the third one was (turned into a blue & white squareish rock with a jack-o-lantern face)
I thought the concept was cool but the execution... These will actually be the first new-mold TFs that I will pass on since...ever, really. Perhaps if they go on deep clearance...
Glad to hear there are peeps that like 'em I never had any rock lords myself so that's probably why these do nothing for me.
I don't care if these do look like Rock Lords; they're articulated, they're protoform figures, and they'll be mine.
I'm really diggin the Prime. He just looks like he commands.
Screamer on the other hand......I wish they had gone with the prototype silver/red paint scheme.
I only need 7 more Rock Lords but they're IMPOSSIBLE to find.
"you can find anything on Ebay"? UM, NO YOU CAN'T!
18 figures away? Aren't there only 22? 29 if you count the stupid action shock rocks and Fossil Lord.
Separate names with a comma.
