So I'm here in Hawaii visiting my parents and found in their attic all the toys from my 80s-era childhood. Here are pictures of just SOME of my stash:

Styrofoam'd Prime is from the '86 movie promotion. My 4-year-old son--who's a Prime fan--is going apeshit over playing with the loose one.

I remember having switched their heads (why I don't know).

Box is over 12" deep and I didn't feel like taking them out at all. I think I remember seeing a Triple T, VAMP, APC, Dragonfly, Thunder Machine...

Got another box full of He-Man that I didn't bother to open, in addition to two boxes of Star Wars toys. Great memories...

...now time to put them back up in the attic.

Damn nice! Especially because they were yours from childhood. :D

Glad your parents didn't throw them out like so many others...!

I still fondly remember my mother talking me into selling a HUGE box of TF stuff back in the late 80's at a yard sale for the ridiculous price of $14. Most of my G1 stuff was in there. Scorponok, Metroplex, Powermaster Prime, Trypticon, most of the parts to Computron, Menasor, Abominus, Headmasters.....etc. Only a few pieces remained afterwards. I'm 27 now, and I still haven't let her forget it.

Thanks for the compliments, all. Seeing as these toys are in Hawaii--and I'm not--the logistics make it difficult for me to coordinate selling them, not to mention shipping to the mainland would be quite high.

Maybe they'll be worth the effort in say, 30 to 40 years. :)

Sweet find! I think the only toys from my youth I still have are a few very badly beaten Masters of the Universe Toys... :(
