Not a popular opinion I suppose, but he puts his passion on the franchise like he did with the first movie, Dotm and AOE, we can get a decent Transformers 7 with Unicron. I hope Paramount consider bring him back with either Ehren Kruger or Orci and Kurtzman. He works best with these writer than those on the writers room.

All three of those writers are kinda crap though lol.

And Bay has always seen the franchise as nothing more than big dumb turn off your brain movies about giant robots fighting each other and explosions for teenagers.

The first film was an anomaly.

    What passion?

The first movie I kinda get, but where was the passion in any of the other four?

Technically he hasn't left, he's still producer.

But maybe eventually, after he's done more non-TF films. He's done five already, and that may be enough.

First time I've ever been adamant about him not coming back. Sorry Mike.

Sorry but I think Michael has had his time in the directors chair for these movies.

Absolutely not. Bay had his go with the franchise, and basically ran it into the ground and shat on it. There's no coherent plot. There's piecemeal continuity between each film. There's unnecessary levels of mindless violence and T&A. I'm honestly flabbergasted that someone could actually look at these and call them "Transformers" movies, especially when a human is the main character, and the titular Transformers are all supporting cast that don't go through character development.

Well said. The fact that the Transformers are side characters in their own franchise is unforgivable and really grinds my gears. Micheal Bay has had 5 attempts to give us a good Transformers movie and has failed.

Did you not see the Bumblebee trailer? I like Michael Bay, but after the new trailer, there is no way I want him directing another TF flick...

He's done a lot of good things, but more bad than good sadly. I'm tired of his humor and treating characters without any importance. His passion ended in Transformers 3 in my opinion. Transformers 1 and 3 were still far from perfect, but nothing worse than the last two.
Michael Bay will be just fine if he stays as producer. I saw a Quiet Place, and it was good.
