    Wowsers.

Somehow, I own more Tom Waits albums (17) than any other artist(s) out there bar Radiohead.

And when he played in London, which I believe was his only appearance near me in my time as a Waits fan, I couldn't get a ticket. Somehow Thom Yorke did. Sod. And Johnny Depp.

Are the European dates up anywhere?

And, Eyeball Kid, what did he play off Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, the early Island stuff? (I know that makes me a classicist Waits fan but, hey.)

And, seeing as we have TW appreciators gathered, what's your favourite Waits lyric?

Actually, he played quite a few old songs. Invitation To the Blues, 16 Shells From A 30-Ought Six, November, Rain Dogs, Anywhere I Lay My Head, Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis, Time, Innocent When You Dream, Cemetery Polka, Falling Down and Way Down In the Hole. I might have missed some.

His European dates are surely sold out. They are on his MySpace page. Sorry!

Favorite lyric? Jeez...maybe don't you know that's no devil, that's just god when he's drunk.
