    I'm not too into it and definitely prefer the 2010 Takara release (the paint job looks too "busy" for me), but this one would be cool for anyone who missed the Takara one, I guess.

    Transformers The Vault is out, it was released early and started to ship on Wednesday. I received my copy on Thursday which was impressive for international ordering. I put up a review last night with some images from the book. Its a good read if sadly too short in some area.

    I hope this comes out for all of you who didn't get the Takara version.

    I bought the Takara version last year but might get this version if released to do some part swapping.

    Although I'm still not too keen on the alt mode not being a perfect sphere, I have to admit that the improved robot mode has piqued my interest. If he shows up in retail in the UK, I may give him a looksie.

    I was planning on getting the 2010 version (which is pricey), but if this does come out, I'll buy it in a heartbeat! Green eyes and painted hand are a huge plus, and the few problematic paint issues will be easy to fix. Plus, he likely won't cost an arm and a leg, so I won't feel so bad when I make the modifications.

    Will have to wait to see some non-Photoshopped pictures, but looking at it so far it looks like it fixes the last couple of 'problems' I have with the Takara 2010 Unicron: the hand is painted, more paint on the planet bits and probably green eyes.

    Must say that makes me feel a bit bummed I bought the pretty expensive Unicron last year, since this one will probably be a bit cheaper...but then again, I AM really happy to have a goodlooking G1 Unicron in my collection,so I should be glad either way. :) 

    And I'm happy more people might be able to get a cool G1 Unicron now!

    Wow, I hope they reveal some info at Botcon next week. I have the Takara one, but I really like the look of this guy too!
