what type of tank does brawl (or devastator) act as in the ORIGINAL Transformers movie?
He's a modified M1A1 Abrams with a mine plow attachment.
He's based on an M1A2 Abrams with a mine plow but he has extra turrets, launchers and modified armour and so on. So really, it doesn't exist.
But if it did it would be an experimental M1.
With the title "original Transformers movie", I had the assumption you were going to ask about the 1986 movie as that is THE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!
The one you questioned about, was not the original, but the first live-action movie.
I always was a fan of Brawl in TFTM. Shame he had to be killed by Bumblebee, who was easily 3x his size. He was so massive and tough.
it might not exist to mainsteam knowladge but its the military so i wouldnt be surprised if they had prototypes.
Bumblebee took him down, when he was on the tow truck.
Actually Brawl is a recycled prop from the movie xXx: State of the Union, with some additional modifications.
And here's something about the "stealth tank" from Triple-X:
xXx: State of the Union (2005) - Trivia
Notable changes for the Transformers movie include the addition of missile launchers on the sides of the secondary turret and a mine plow on the front end of the tank.
Was he ever identified as an M1 Abrams in any official capacity, or is that a purely fan-originated association?
