So far I'm thinking Limbo, Super Meat Boy, Serious Sam HD, or Braid, but I'm open to some suggestions. Anything really good on XBLA or Indie Marketplace that would be worth a purchase?

If you like Shoot 'em ups you can't go wrong w/ Radiant Silvergun. Speaking of Treasure games Guardian Heroes is a great old school hack and slash.

Limbo is really good. BG&E is too -as I understand it. I haven't played it.
Torchlight and Shadow Complex are two older but excellent titles.

Bastion is an excellent action RPG. The gameplay is great, but it's the presentation of the game that stands out the most. The story, art, and music are all fantastic.

Yeah, it's crazy stupid that Microsoft made their points to where $1 = 80 points.
You know, because no one would understand it if everything was in multiples of 100.

    $5 = 500 points?
    That's just too confusing.

$5 = 400 points makes so much more sense.

Any DLC for a game you own that has a high replay value.
Don't fall into the trap of that War of the Worlds side-scroller. It was good up until the part where you have to venture into the sewers and escape the red-weed growing down there. Unless you think you can beat it, and if you can, can you get past that part for me somehow? :lol

Is Limbo still on sale? If so, definitely grab that game.

EDIT: It is still on sale for 600 points.

This one's in the independent games section- Beat Hazard. Imagine Geometry Wars except your mp3s and other music files generate the levels. I recommend it to anyone :)
