Im trying to get into Transformers:Cybertron, but those kids get on my nerves big time. The kids in Armada/Energon got on my nerves too! Hell, for that matter, the few humans in G1 got on my nerves also! Were there kids in Car Robots/RiD? I never watched it.

Anyway, those kids only: State the obvious. Get in the line of fire constantly. Have the most annoying voice actors. And totally destroy the illusion of Robots in Disguise.

Robots in Disguise, but a few kids know the whole truth. BAH! Ive been reading the TF comics lately, and I love em, partly because of no kids. Ive even been seeing ads in em for a new comic series called "The Transformers:Stormbringer" with the tagline "NOTHING BUT ROBOTS ON CYBERTRON." Now thats what Im talkin about.

Anybody else hate the kids? Anybody think the kids are a good idea?

The kids are the best thing going for the franchise.

The Cybertron kids are not THAT bad compared to Kicker and what I have heard about the Armada kids.

Armada kids were pretty bad. Carlos has a special place reserved for him in cartoon hell. Rad and Alexis weren't too bad, IIRC.

"Hi, my name is Rad! And I want to tell you about the Transformers!"

    :throw

The Cybertron kids are, actually, the best humans we've had on the show since G1. They have there annoying moments, of course, but I find them to be genuinely likeable most of the time. Especially Bud. Bud is frickin' hilarious.

Hmm... Watched a bit of the old G1 again. Spike was useful to the Transformers in almost every battle. But his son was an asshole until he was featured in the Botcon comics. Poor kid. Blew himself up over sheer depression. Hmmm... Japanese G1? Masterforce the kids actually became Transformers. So they helped. Victory had Jan. At least he wasn't a Sunstorm.

Hey, uh, dude for the most part humans in G1 were cool. Not only did you have Spike, but his father Sparkplug too. Spike, when the show started, was about 15.

What I always wondered is how Sparkplug made a living to support Spike. Did the Autobots pay Sparkplug? Did he get health benefits, and a 401K plan? I know the Autobots did a lot to help him and Spike (like the episode Autobot Spike) but I wonder how he died before 2006, because he was definitely absent.

The Armada kids and Kicker were perhaps Hasbro's greatest mistakes. :p

RiD only had one kid named Koji.
His dad Dr. Onishi was in there some too.

There was another woman who always was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but I don't know her name......

    Not alot of humans actually.

    I loved that series.

Humans are needed for the target audience to relate to the show. Beast Wars was different. Then again, that was the first real POPULAR show to feature CGI all the way around.

Humans "somewhat" played an importance to Beast Wars.
Without Dinobot, the humans wouldn't have weapons. Without weapons or the Transformers, there would never have been Hasbro or Takara. Without them, there would be no The Transformers.

    Complexing, huh? :drunk

Humans were more useful back then. Sparkplug was an engineer, I think, considering the fact he helped Wheejack in his wacky experiments. Or a construction worker.

The premiere episode for TF Armada has to be one of the worst series debuts in all 'toon history. You'd have to be a moron to make a premiere episode for a kids' show that has a tediously long and boring opening narration that lasts for like 15 minutes.

And then they went the entire episode without a single appearance of an actual Transformer (sorry, mini-cons don't count).

I kept screaming at the TV, "WHERE ARE THE F***KING TRANSFORMERS?!?! The show IS called TRANSFORMERS for @#$%'s sake!"

I tried tolerating a few more episodes of Armada after that, but it just kept getting worse. I liked many of the Armada toys, but the show sucked like Unicron's maw.

You know, that was like the first line in the show, and it really should've signaled to everyone the impending doom and horror to come.

If any future series starts with a kid wanting to tell you about the Transformers, turn off the television and go outside. You'll live a much happier life.
