Removed my childish outburst, sorry guys
Well I wish they'd do a few more, but I don't hate them for not doing it. I can understand them not wanting to do an entire line of Cybertronian altmodes. But wait for WFC2, they'll probably do a couple more.
If they just did Starscream and Ratchet, they could get another 5 figures out of 2 molds.
Honestly we were lucky to get the ones we did. It was a huge risk for Hastak to make the 4 we got in a tie in with a game. They have to had them in development before the game out and it could have been an epic disaster in the game had tanked the figures would have likely shelf warmed.
I am actually surprised we got the few that we did as quick as we did.
In all honesty I don't think it was that much of a risk to do a handful of figures based on some of the most popular and well-known Transformer characters in their top-selling size class.
If they'd done a Supreme class Trypticon based on the game, I'd agree with you. That would be a huge risk.
Just be glad something was made. I'm still waiting to place a MP BW Dinobot in my collection, but MP Grimlock is a good place holder at the moment.
I wonder how many times Hasbro would have ruined my life if I were that much of a fair-weather fan of Transformers.
I'm sure we'll see more wfc in the future.
And hate? Really?
Given all the stuff Hasbro is making to tie into Dark of the Moon I can see why Hasbro would have to put off giving us more WFC figures for now. Retailers are only going to give up so much shelf space so there has to be some limits to what they can do at any one time.
I'm sure once things have died down from the movie mania and Hasbro needs to have something for the brand we will see more WFC figures.
I mean just look at how long Classics fans had to wait for a Classics style deluxe Jazz or how many times the Classics style figures got put on hold. Just because Hasbro can't give us more WFC figures this year doesn't mean that they will never give us any. Even if it's next year or the year after that the designs are still going to be cool so I'll still desire any new WFC figures they put out.
Ditto. I can understand being disappointed...but "hate" is a bit extreme.
More characters would have been nice. But WFC Prime and Megatron are so awesome that I forgive them for not making anymore bots.
I just need WFC Warpath, Shockwave, and Starscream, and I'm set.
EDIT: A Voyager Zeta Prime would be nice as well. And Ultimate Omega or Trypticon!
And this is where you cross the line from "dedicated fan" to "extremist". I have not seen a single post by you that hasn't lent itself completely to praising WFC and the Starscream from that continuity. We get it. You want more WFC. You don't have to make multiple threads for it, and if whining about it hasn't made Hasbro make any more figures, then whining about it more and saying you hate Hasbro will do absolutely nothing, other than annoy anybody looking for sane discussion here. At least try to look at it from a business standpoint. For all intents and purposes, Transformers: War for Cybertron is dead media. There is no hype train behind it any longer, and making toys off of it is not as profitable as making toys off of other, currently popular, Transformers series.
Unrealistic expectations + insane hyperbolic hostility = you are a man-child who needs some perspective in his life.
Good luck with that.
True which is exactly why those 4 were chosen to be made into figures as name recognition would help them sell. Still if the game had failed it likely they would not have sold as well as they have.
Why would you hate them? WFC2 is coming out in the future. I guarantee you there will be more toys.
Arcee was never officially announced, so it hasn't been technically canceled though.
I hope they do more WFC when the 2nd game comes out but at the same time couldn't care less since it's almost a given they wont do the characters I want.
I'm happy with what we've gotten nonetheless.
I'd have been happy with a WFC Ironhide and Starscream to round out both sides a bit more, but I'm grateful for what we got. When the sequel hits, maybe we'll get those and a few others?
I wish there was more, too! Before WFC I was content with just looking at photos of the modern Transformers on the internet. But when WFC came out, I began to buy Transformers toys as an adult. WFC Optimus was way too cool to be left out. And I do want to have more WFC toys of characters I like.
Hell, even an own cartoon would be soooo freaking cool!
