Okay today I learned NOT to do a repaint after a bad day at work...

My mind wasn't totally on what I was doing and I painted the inside of Classic Bumblebee's Front window! I don't know why I didn't mask the inside of the window like I did the outside, like I said my mind wasn't entirely on what I was doing.

Does anybody know of a way I can remove the paint on the inside, safely!
I'm using that Krylon Fushion stuff.

I figure if i can't fix it, I'll paint in the window's black ( a tinted window look ) And chalk this whole thing up to experience!

Its my first repaint anyway....live and learn!

    Lol...yep. Unfortunately, I do.

Goof Off. Not "Goo Gone", Goof Off. It comes in a tin can like lighter fluid. (Not sure where to get it, as mine was shipped to me by a friend)

Dab a little on a Q-tip, and use the Q-tip to wipe the paint off. Use a damp rag to wipe the windshield clean, though. Paper towels just make it smear and cloudy.

    ;)

Goof Off can be found in your local Home Depot or Lowes. It's in the paint section with all the solvents.

Isopropyl alcohol...rubbing alcohol at least 70%, along with some elbow grease, will take Fusion off.

Goof off and the isoprohpyl alcohol will both help take care of this, as has been mentioned.

Goof off will mar that window no matter what you use to wipe it off with. Don't EVER use that stuff on transparent plastic. Your safest bet is probably the alcohol deal.

I had no problem with the Goof Off on Bumblebee's windshield. Except when I used a paper towel. I used more Goof Off, then used a soft, barely damp rag. Problem solved.

And, the whole reason I even took the risk, was because everyone warned that trying to take even the factory paint off of that piece with all the "proven methods" would melt the plastic.

    Thanks guys!

I'm broke right now, but I do have a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol in the house, so I'm gonna try that tonight afterwork.

Other than this little goof, my first repaint is coming along rather nicely!

91% alcohol is the best way to go. I was just stating where you could find the Goof Off. It is a lot more powerful than the isopropyl alcohol. Some on a q-tip will work fine for you. The larger bottle of 91% at WalMart retails for $1.94.
