... and speaking of which, what if the actual robot mode was still really small, but if the trailer & whatnot transformed into an exoskeleton of sorts? Sort of like the Ultra Magnus armour, except to the point of turning him from scout/deluxe size to at least a voyager?
Yeah I know about it. I passed him up when I saw him years ago because I'd rather have a Classics type version of him. I can wait and see what happens. I'm not too rushed on wanting an Ercector.
If I somehow still saw it at a TRU or discount store still then I would buy it. But that probably wouldn't happen here.
I am all behind a new Erector toy, especially if it turns into that...pity it won't be named Erector due to reasons of trademark issues, not to mention the obvious problem.
Yeah, I was going to say wasn't that the model Galaxy Force Demolishor/Cybertron Mudflap was loosely based on? So, with a repaint that was clearly Erector-inspired... that already is an Erector figure.
I'd take a Cyberverse version of that design. Cab section as the robot, the rest as a huge AA base, just like the original.
hmm... I might try a reshell... any idea if there allready a decent sized (say voyager) plastic toy resembling such a monster crane?
The huge crane arm is the most awesome part of the Mudfl . . . Erector toy. That. Would. Be. AWESOME.
You... haven't been reading SQ7's or my posts. Galaxy Force Demolishor/Cybertron Mudflap already uses that alt mode. The redeco thrown into the Movie-1 line (TRU Exclusive) uses Erector's deco. A lot of people have been using this toy as their "Classics" Erector since its release.
That looks wimpy next to the crane in the link. Also the face isn't red. I'd so buy a Cyberverse Erector with that crane alt mode.
