I have a Sony minidisc mz-n510 thats been lying around and i decided to load some songs on the disc. I had forgotten how annoying sonicstage was and how rediculous it is that a disc only holds 74 minutes of music. The quality really is great on this player but I doubt I'll ever carry this around again since I have 80 gb worth of room on my little ipod. Is there anyone else out there still using a minidisc anyway?
Speaking of Minidisc player, I still have mine stored in a drawer (mine's a Aiwa AM-NX9 and still works) which I barely touch ever since I upgraded to a 1GB iPod Shuffle and 8GB iPod Touch (both of them 2nd gen). And I agree with the SonicStage thingy, it wouldn't allow me to back up my songs...
for some reason, i always wanted a MD for my car. But the MD never caught on despite some of the advantages over CDs. Besides,t they were simply cool tech. what i want to know, since i never got to use one, were they more reliable, as in not as easy to make skip as a CD player?
yea they didnt skip and the disc didnt scratch. I thought it was so cool and I was going against the ipod grain when I bought mine. I keep thinking to sell it but I may have some use for it one day
I've got a pristine one that I keep meaning to sell, but haven't converted the concerts I used it to bootleg to mp3's yet. that thing was great.
would you plug yours into the soundboard, or use a mic? I had this giant sony powered stereo mic that made hanging out in a crowd slightly...awkward.
