im not sure if this is the right place to post this hah

buuut i just felt like sharing (more like bragging) on my newest figure! hah

i just bought a classics rodimus in an opened box complete for only.... $15!!!

iv been looking forever to find him and never found a decent price, and to get him from a member on seibertron.com for only $15 is just amazing!!

now hopefully the protector armor isnt toooo expensive hah (it most likely will be) and i can upgrade him up hah

well.. just felt like sharing :]

I'd think that Toy Discussion would be a better fit for this type of thread.

    Congrats on your find!

    Congratulations on your new find.

It's getting harder and harder to find him and ultra magnus and cyclonus for a good price these days.

    Congratulations on your find.

Also, heads-up: I've found that the gun handle is quite prone to breaking. Be careful.

    congrats its a great toy.

I'd rate classics 1.0 rodiums as the number one toy of that line.

it's a rare sight these days when takara/hasbro create EXACT updated homage new molds like 1.0 Hotrod/rodimus.

Yeah, mine broke off in the socket it plugs into in vehicle mode. Pulled it out, and glued it back onto the gun. Some great glue too, because that sucker is never coming off again. :lol

Great to hear! I myself just won a MOSC Classics Mirage on eBay. He was listed for $48.84 total, but after some negotiating, he agreed to sell Mirage to me for $35.00.

Man, Classics Toys are getting harder and harder to find for decent prices.

Nice. I recently picked up a second one complete and with instructions in a big box of TFs I bought at a car boot sale. Working it out with the other stuff and what I paid for the lot the figure probably only cost me £2. There was a Classics Mirage in there too. :)

You'd think Classics were G1s themselves. The prices are crazy! Congrats on the Rodimus! I just acquired him & Grimlock through a trade. I had to give up a MISB Hybrid Prime. I've been trying to rebuild my collection and so far just have a small group of Autobots. I only want the seekers from the 'Cons.

stuff like this makes me happy i was around for the first classics, i payed $10 for my rodimus when he came out, had to look for about a month, but i got him

now magnus is another story, it is the reason i absolutely despise the idea of target exclusives

Awww... I just remembered... I found an Ultra Magnus and Skywarp two pack at Target, and passed them up!

CRAP. It's near impossible to find a decent priced MOSC Skywarp now...

    Congrats!

I'm soooo glad I managed to get him (and some of the other Classics) when they were on clearance at Walmart back in '07.

The thing about those two is that they were pretty big shelf warmers. I remember my Target had almost a complete end cap full of them on clearance when classics was fading away. I actually bought two of the sets for about $20 I think.

To the OP-that's an awesome find! Rodimus' price will only get bigger as people get prepared for the armor add on! I don't think he's the best realease from the line, but he's a fantastic toy none-the-less!

Nice find. I actually picked mine up when the line first came out (might have even been my first Classics figure, and thus the first figure that got me into collecting Transformers).

Ended up paying $70 for the Henkei version though, so I guess it evens out.

That was the only time I had ever seen the two pack, and I shop at my target frequently. Shelf-warming figures tend to vary from area to area.

I remember that those 2-packs were on clearance at target way back when, they had a ton of them. My brother got a few but I wasn't into transformers back then, wish i had been.
