I couldn't believe it when I heard it. I had to go into the dealership this past Friday to get a few things tidied up with the CR-V trade-in. I also did some talking with the internet sales manager I bought my vehicle through, and he shared with me some sad and shocking news. Apparently, a few days after I had traded in my Ridgeline someone at the dealership had bought the vehicle and had been driving it. Well, they got in a bad accident and my sales manager was there at the impound lot to get a picture of it. I feel a bit guilty for feeling lucky, as it wasn't me who had the accident, yet I hope those involved weren't seriously hurt. Here is a picture of my old truck;
If the truck randomly blew up or something I would say you would be lucky. Seems like if you stilled owned it nothing would have happened
I tried the same joke on my Ridgeline forum I still visit (and annoy the members there as much as I do here) and it was spotted as a fake in five posts. Damn observant people there.
how did they pick it up as a fake that quick. Is the picture a well known one on that forum or something?
The only reason I was sceptical was because that sure didn't look like Tucson Az. Unless the impound lot was on Mt Lemmon.
This joke lacks humor. If somebody actually pulled this on you it would be funny, but telling it this way was less than stellar.
