he only got his eye ripped out. through his throught yes but he is megatrons equal and if megatron can die, come back, get half his face blown off, and more, shockwave can live without an eye. or at least be revivable. am i wrong? would you like to see shockwave fuck shit up in tf4???

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's dead. If he wasn't killed by that, I'm pretty sure they finished him off.

 

Dead as Dillinger. He's dead. Megatron was specifically shown to still be alive after getting shot in the face. Shockwave was clearly shown to be murderdeathkilled.

The only way he can come back is in a comic sequel or something, like Ravage did. Optimus is way too thorough in is 'con slaying to let a loose end like that go.

i understand your a megatron fan boy, so it shouldnt be a forgien concept to you why he entrusted shockwave to keep cybertron in check while he was gone. and if he isnt megatrons equal, why does everyone go run and hide from him, and gang up on him in the end? surely someone who wasnt as dangerous as the mighty megatron wouldnt get all of that attention.

 

Technically, everyone runs and hides from the Decepticon forces, and his pet drill worm.

 

Death is a weird thing for Transformers (and fictional characters in general). There have been cases where a bot has been completely vaporized just to pop back up later.

However, Shockwave is dead.
Sequels, comics, Hasbro themselves may revive him in some fashion later on, but for now Shocky has joined the Driller in extinction.

 

In case there is a TF4, I doubt Shockwave would return

For starters, he was turned into a pile of scrap metal...they were really nasty to him...beheaded, eye gouged out, arm-cannon ripped off, what else?

And secondly, as we already know, many characters that were introduced, simply disappeared in the next movie, Scalpel, Skids, Mudflap, Jolt, etc.

Even though Shockwave was awesome in the movie and I liked him very much, I dont think he will return. There are reasons to consider him dead, and also, even if he wasnt, Im pretty sure he would be simply ignored for the sequel.

 

A big worm will make anyone run. He's loyal to Megatron and that's it. Yeah I'm a fan of Megatron, so what? Wheeljack wtf is up with that? Are you a closet Go-Bot fan LOL??

 

I can think of about 1,075,000,000 reasons why you're going to be disappointed in a few years.

 

Unless there is a script, cast, crew and they are already shooting don't count on it. Would I be happy if there was a TF4? Of course I would, but just a public announcement that they plan on a 4th isn't enough to convince me and should not convince you.
