Yeah. That is what made it confusing. There were quite a lot of TFing "skips" in the movie.

That's some poor editing and direction right there.

 

Definately, but the movie in general suffers from budget problems. Most noticeably moments in the Nemesis scene (Starscream, Megatron and particurarly the Hatchlings looked poor while the Fallen was great), the Forest Fight (great moment, but when you watch the stills you can see that the bots are a bit too noticeably pasted in) and the entirety of the end battle ('nuff said). Yeah, the editing is a bit weird/sucks as well (like Sideswipe's transformation being sped up when it looks pretty damn cool and well thought out in the stills), but the budget is the biggest thing at fault here.

Thanks a lot Devastator, you overtly complex waste of screentime.

 

Oh for sure, it's pretty clear they were stretching out their budget.

Some of the graphics work towards the end is pretty sloppy as you mentioned.

 

I was watching it last night, and I never ever noticed. But then again there's so much happening at once, and the Bayformers designs make it difficult to notice such things.

I read the novel before seeing the movie,in the novel he plays a pretty big role of taking Demolisher down,so I wanted to make sure he was in the movie,barely noticed him on the big screen though.

 

I am not so sure that the budget was the problem, after watching all the specials on disc 2 of the Bluray release....it was coming down to the wire from ILM and they were dicking Bay around.

 

He's pretty clear to see, not sure how so many people missed him.

 

i think people missed the fact that it was Ironhide. I always thought the only showed Ironhide driving and trying to catch up to them, and not actually getting on demolishor.

 

Was it just me who saw this in theaters?

I don't know -I saw it in the theaters 4 times (2 of those were IMAX) and I missed it.
