    It only beat ROTF AFTER 2009 was over so it doesn't count.

    What about Titanic?

    I t came out in 1997 yet didn't become the highest grosser til 1998.

    not to be ass kisser or licker of any sort because i try to be as objective as i can, however, on Bay's site where Nelson claims "most watched movie of 09" can stand correct because it was the most watched movie of 09 considering revenue. Avatar was only in 09 for 2 weeks. even if it beats ROTF domestically, ROTF is considered to be highest grosser of 09.

    yes i know, but what im saying is that ROTF is the most watched movie of 09.
    Avatar was only in 09 for 2 weeks and because it came out in 09 it is the highest grossing 09 movie.
