I was really satisfied with the different spectrum of lines Optimus spoke. He wasn't just giving orders or getting mad and saying a blunt one liner this time.

"Stop! No. No No, Sentinel!" Peter really put an effort into optimus in DOTM

This too! "Why, Sentinel? Why?!" "This is our home! We must defend the humans!" Probably the most range we've seen in a film Optimus. :)

My personal favorite is the sadness and despair in his voice when he says "What your leaders say is true, this was all my fault. I told them whom to trust, I was so wrong. Remember this: you may lose your faith in us, but never in yourselves... You are my friend, Sam. You always will be. But, your leaders have spoken: from here, the fight will be your own."

IMHO, the most range we've recieved out of any Cullen Optimus. :D

I keep thinking of doing some kind of strange, humorous drawing for the line, 'Stop! No-Nono, Sentinel!' Just the Phrase 'No-No-Sentinel' sounds like it'd be a fun t-shirt slogan.

Though one scene I still have stuck in my head is the slow-mo shot of Optimus chasing Sentinel through the trees in D.C., the music and the attitude of the scene, aligned with his 'Autobots, retreat!' tone really works.

Though not to beat a dead horse, I also remember the line when Sentinel is just beating him around on the LaSalle St Bridge, and he says 'Please!' It's not so much begging, as asking his former mentor to stop what he's doing and remember who he was.

I hear it as both begging and asking his mentor to alter remember who he was. Honestly, even if it was begging, I wouldn't think any less of Optimus. He just had his arm torn out by the roots, after tearing his way through the 'Con forces, and now has Sentinel raking him across the bridge with his sword through Optimus' shoulder. He even reaches up to Sentinel for a moment before getting kicked back down to the ground. I don't know about you, but if I were in Optimus' position, I'd be begging. ;)  Just awesome animation and voice acting coming together for one of the more emotional sequences in the trilogy.

Yeah, but a few seconds later, Sentinel begs for his life and Optimus kills him anyway. Makes him seem like a con. And Optimus executed Demolishor in ROTF.

Sure, forgive Sentinel who just cleaned out a city full of humans and wanted to enslave the rest of the planet. And the guy who was prepared to kill you.

Don't forget poor little Demolishor, who not only attacks the NEST troops first and kills loads of them but also murders countless innocent human civillians on the Freeway.

As far as these movies are concerned, if you're a Cybetronian and you murder human beings, then Optimus Prime is going to come and kill your robotic ass.

    And rightfully so.

Watch the latest (as in the last episode that aired in Canada) episode of TF: Prime when you get the chance. Cullen put an insane amount of effort into that.
