I've once told you that you were like the 3D version of the Don. Now I actually think you're ahead of him, honestly. You got all those little things and details Don put into his drawings but with your own spice. It's fabulous.

Do you have plans for a movie or maybe a comic? Just imagine how AWESOME these would look in an eventual animated, 'gap' season between G1 season 2 and TFTM. I know you can't sell TF stuff and a partnership with Hasbro would actually suck the money out of you, but I would donate tons of cash for such beautiful project and I'm sure many others here would do the same.

EDIT: Everytime I visit your website I get hit by a punch of awesomeness. You REALLY should be doing pro-bono work for Hasbro or Tomy. Your work is much better than the stuff Takara used for their Beast Wars.

only one nitpick i have... whirl's top blades look, far far too small to hold up the helicopter in flight.

    other then that.

    they're great!

It's actually the angle of the shot, his blades are actually longer :)

Thanks! that's gotta be one of the greatest compliments I've ever gotten...I have to disagree though that Don is STILL the man! Most of my stuff is inspired by his stuff!

anyway, real life keeps me from doing anything more than just renders and the occasional transformation movies...i dabbled with comics...contributing to the Mosaic Project. Maybe I'll do more of that in the future :)

Still keeping my fingers crossed with Hasbro ha ha

Those are awesome especially roadbuster. He's one of my favorites. I've always admired your style and have been inspired by your homepage since I got back into TF's years ago. I love watching your renders get updated and have enjoyed seeing your skills improve greatly. Not only that but you always presented your tf's in dynamic poses and prolific camera angles.
the funny thing is I always try to find something that just "isn't right"
in your modelling(i.e. proportions) but I usually can't . They always look right, and your artistic liberties taken with the character are always very subtle and bring this old cast of characters into 2008. I've had your work as my desktop several different times now, and used your models as references too.
And the finish/ reflectivity is like your signature, I recognize it immediately.
    You've got mad skills!

Well, what I can say? You've done a great job with the low-res/medium res characters as far as the modeling and posing go. It's a pity that there's not enough time to do a fully fledged animated series, but hey, it IS a lot of work.

Was one of your goals to do all the G1 Transformers from the Dreamwave continuity? it seems as if you're well on your way to achieving that!

After that, then what? Armada, Energon? Those were the other two series before the fold.

Well I never really set out a "goal" per se ha ha.....but I'm up for doing whatever G1, Dreamwave just seems to have the best reference material in my opinion. I do branch out from time to time..Alternators..I've also thought of doing some Animated designs as well as some Gobots for kicks!

I just saw this after visiting your site again, great stuff as usual. That's just awesome ness. I need to grab myself Roadbuster sometime. Anyways, can't say enough how brilliant your stuff is. And I agree, you definitely should work in animation or something.

How are you w/ backgrounds? Maybe you could even do comics? I would LOVE this 3D style in the comics.

(Oh and I'm glad w/ all the recent updates too! For what seemed like a long time I kept visiting but very few updates were coming!)
