I LOVE the alt-modes--excellent call on the scale-skewing.

Great to see you updating--you're definitely one of the pioneers of 3D TF fanart!

thanks! that's always something that bothered me...imagine forming Bruticus while keeping the scaling of each vehicle accurate....talk about super deformed! ha ha

BRUTICUS!!!!! You have NO idea how much I love these models that you've just presented as Bruticus is my favorite combined form. 10 out of 10 from me!!

One thing, what renderer are you using? XSI standard or Mental Ray. If Mental Ray, I would suggest trying to implement either final gather or global illumination (methinks you already have raytracing enabled). If XSI comes with Mental Ray (3.5, I think), you might be able to try out something called "Create Physical Sun and Sky" which simulates outdoor lighting, though you will probably have to play around a little bit with the settings to make sure things don't look washed out.

Holy crap those are brilliant. The only problem I have is with the characters themselves in that they're not to scale. There's no way a shuttle can be equal to a helicopter and jeep be equal to a tank. But those are just fantastic, fantastic models.

Thanks! I've just been using standard XSI final gathering...I know I'm doing something wrong cuz I can't seem to tweak it like I used to...not sure what (its been awhile) and my knowledge or rendering is very minimal to begin with. Any XSI users out there willing to help me out? :)

Amazing CGI rendition of the Combaticons. I'd say, that's a awesome job there.

So your the dude who's doing these. :)

Absolutely awesome, mate. Unparalleled I can't say how much I've been a fan of your work for so long. So often I use them to inspire me and get reinvigorated for G1. Absolutely amazing work that you do and no amount of words could I use to even begin to describe how awesome your stuff is.

Great job! I really like those renders of yours. But can I make a small suggestion? Try to integrate more layers of dirt and scratched metal, in order to make the metal look more realistic and break off some of the high specular you have there.
