Ok, tonight I picked up TF Universe Silverbolt and Powerglide. I was geeked to get home and transform them for the first time. That was until I started on Powerglide anyways. Those of you who have him know the position of the button for his sound effects. (For those that don't it's on his upper back almost behind his head.) Anyways, I suppose I could just be clumsy and don't realize it, but it seemed that every time I touched the guy I was setting off his sounds. I kept lifting up his tail wing section just a bit to avoid accidentally pressing the button, but still, 9 times out of ten I'd set it off anyway. And I don't just mean setting it off once, no the tail section would stay depressed against the button and the machine gun sound would just keep going on until I lifted up the tail wings again. Getting tired of setting off the sounds, I decided to turn him back into a plane so the button wasn't so easy to depress by mistake. But in the middle of transforming him I noticed that the transformation sound effect didn't go off when I moved the appropriate section, and when I completed jet mode and checked the button there was nothing. ......Blessed silence. I suppose that either I somehow "broke" him or the battery died. Normally this would make me angry, any new figure having the batteries go dead the very first day you have it is just pathetic. But not in this case, if I never have to hear that darn machine gun sound go off when I pick up Powerglide in robot mode, I think it's an okay trade off, even though I will miss the lights blinking. Anybody else have this problem with their Powerglide? Either the sound effects being too easily triggered or them quitting altogether? Was I doing something wrong in the transformation?
