Awwwee. Memories. It's funny how much nostalgia this evokes, not just in the show itself, but the things I was doing when his show was on the air.

You could never do a show like that today, too many different license holders of those various game characters. Capcom, Nintendo,Konami, and various others.

Didn't really watch it much when it was on. But, have been thinking about maybe picking it up some day.

Right now I'm a little distracted by my normal Blu Ray/DVD wants list. Damned expensive Seiya figures(steel saints), Star Wars Vintage Collection, assorted non-movie Transformers..... and my new long time in the coming Disgaea obsession. To top it all off now I have to get a PS3 to play Disgaea 3&4.

    I bet it did, lol.

I've been watching it with a nostalgic eye. Yeah, it didn't age well, but certain elements of the art style cry 80's (kinda like old Galaxy High's style). I also loved how many non-nintendo characters they were able to show. Blade's right. That would be impossible to do now, unless it was under the umbrella of the same company.

Loved it as a kid, and don't want to taint that nostalgia by watching it now and seeing how bad it was :D

Most memorable episode for me had a montage of Megaman running through his rogues from the first game, while "Highway to the Danger Zone" played on. Awesome.

From a nostalgia point, it actually feels like it did back then. That's one of the reasons I've been enjoying it.

I wonder if Nintendo could put Kevin in a future Smash Bros game.

    Yea.....No.

Did anyone notice Kevin was voiced by Matt Hill (Energon Ironhide).......Alessandro Julani (L and Nightscream) is Kid Icarus/Pit and Venus Terzo (Blackarachinda) voiced the Princess.

It's hard to imagine that guy grew up to voice L in Death Note.

I still enjoy the toon. I don't get too caught up in the characters not being much like their video game counterparts. Gameboy is still annoying, though.

I used to love that one and Zelda.

I agree, both have aged very badly, its like wow I watched that, And thought it was good lol.

The princess reminds me of Saved by the Bell Kelly lol.

The voice of "Kevin" seemed familiar but not really. Who is the voice of Scoop in GI Joe , he hella reminds me of somethin I cant place. The Alley Viper too sounds like somethin else I should know.

Ya know, actually this show did kinda suck lol. The princess is still hot, both of them haha Zelda is still hot too!

Yo, when are they gonna shock the world and give us a Zelda movie?

ah, back when Nintendo ruled their console with an iron fist...controlled almost all of the licenses.
Companies like Tengen gave them the finger, but really, it was a NINTENDO for a reason.

i always wanted a good Simon Belmont tv show...
like the old Mighty Max cartoon. but, kids...gotta dumb down stuff for hyperactive Nintendo cereal chomping sugar fiend kids...
    sigh.

I believe Larry DiTillio wrote one of the episodes for Zelda, and although silly, it was a pretty good episode. I didn't know the Beast Wars writers went that far back.

Kevin's voice actor is Matt Hill who voiced those god awful charecters Energon Ironhide and Carlos.
