Congrats dude, and welcome to the club! I've been engaged for 3 months myself and am now in the midst of stressful wedding planning (ugh), "enjoy" it when your time comes. Wait, so NO ONE'S asked how he proposed? I feel like such a girl, but wth...so what's the story OP, how'd you pop the question?
Well I obtained her dads permission back in march. I told him i was gonna propose on our 1 year anniversary, However she read my facebook messages to her dad so i told her I would ask when it felt right. So fast forward to this morning i had gotten up for work and was giving her morning Hug and Kiss Goodbye when i whispered in her ear " Bear will you be my wife and be mine forever and always?" She started tearing up and said Yes.
Omg, congrats! I hope though, a guy never asks my parents first. Because they will always say no. I am 27 and not allowed to hold hands with boys yet. Only a year? And bummer, that ruins the surprise.
