One of my friends asked me if I wanted to rent his extra room. It's near the beach, in a really nice neighborhood for 600 a month. The room is tiny. But of course, I don't need much stuff to fill it with. With the exception of my Inhumanoid figures and a few vehicles. I don't want to bring a ton of stuff with me. He lives in a really nice neighborhood with lots of night clubs, bookstores, organic food stores, clothing boutiques, and restaurants. Not to mention, I am in the middle of looking for a new job and doing some important legal stuff. Toys are the last thing on my mind. I didn't even buy anything at Wondercon due to sheer boredom with the fantasy stuff. Over the last few years, I've lost interest in collecting. I still am buying figures, but I think I only bought two DOTM figures(Shockblast & Crankcase). I purchased a few Iron Man figures. But I really think how am I gonna load all these across the bay? I don't even drive. I'd rather bring my desk and my huge collection of clothes. But toys.... why would I bring those? I'd rather sell most of them and keep the profits for rent and the other stuff I am into. Then store the rest here. But I am more concerned about connecting with other humans than their plastic representations.
