I'm talking about the Universe 2.0 mold. Seeing the pics, I prefer Sunstreaker's proportions, as it looks more athletic than the Sideswipe transformation. I did a test with Sunstreaker, and the Sideswipe transformation looks "clunky" and the chest looks waay to big. I think when I get Sideswipe, I actually might debate in what transformation to display him in. Anybody else feel this way?
I think that it would be better in the toy discussion, me thinks. As for your question, I love the Sideswipe transformation in the Sideswipe color scheme. And the Streaker on in the Streaker color scheme. Keep in mind that the names in my answers can be swapped out. I love them both!
I've already swapped 'Streaker's hands round so he transforms with the bonnet chest. But I'm switching the transformations for both, to match up with my 'belief' (if that's the right word) that Sideswipe was supposed to be the red Super Tuning jobbie with the rear intake, and Sunstreaker was the yellow standard 500S. So I'll also be swapping the heads when I get a Sideswipe. I'm not quite sure which I actually prefer; I actually quite like the way that the bonnet chest makes the fig appear bulkier than the roof chest, even though it's the same fig.
I like the fact you can have either one in either form you prefer whenever. =D That rocks. Plus the hands are easily swappable for whichever you prefer. Personally, I'll experiment with Sideswipe in both forms as I did sunstreaker, but in the end he's stay on the shelf as his normal G1 lookin self.
I like, no LOVE the Dual transformation from a single mold. It allows Hasbro/Takara to get their monies worth from a single mold, and I'm not sitting with two of the same figures with different heads! It's win/win. I only wish they had looked into this with the Alt/BT line. Staying on topic, I prefer Sideswipes transformation.
yea, i am actually planning on buying a second pair of sun/swipe and transform them as redstreaker and yellowswipe because i like the look of both ways. plus i've always wanted a red sunstreaker... lol!
