So, it happened again - I dropped $140 on ebay for a henkei Mirage - took the guy over a week to mail it, and what did I get when it finally arrived? A friggin CHMS Henkei Mirage...words can not express how much I loathe these KO companies that create shitty quality products for cheapskate "collectors" at the expense of collectors who wants the genuine article.

I truely, truely wish all the people at CHMS the worst of luck, may you all get seriously ill, need organ donations and have KO organs transplanted into you that break 5 minutes after you start using them.

And to all the people who buy CHMS KO - by buying these products you are making it possible for them to create more knock offs and rip off more of your fellow collectors.

Nuff ranted...now...anyone know where I can buy an AK 47 and a plane ticket to China?

Unless it was CHMS's personal seller account you should be mad at the seller not the KO company. Will you be able to get your money back through ebay if you tell them it is a KO?

Damn bro - that sucks. I had a Facebook friend that made a big deal out of getting a Henkei Thundercracker a while back (before the Generations version hit), and she refused to believe it was a KO. Even after I pointed out to her that it said "CHMS" not "TAKARA TOMY" on the actual box. She got ripped for like $200.

I hope you can get your money back, or at least some sort of resolution.

CHMS at least does mark their KOs, not that it makes it any more on the level in my eyes.

That being said, the seller knowingly sold it as genuine? Log a complaint with them and see where it gets you. Could be they did not know themselves, but if they did, report that sucker to Ebay.

Thanks, I've actually never filed a complaint to get my money back before, so I've just begun the process - aparantly ebay wants me to email the seller and see if we can reach an agreement first.

Will waiting until monday be enough time you think?

Well, you see...without a crooked company that not only steals IP, but makes illigitimate copies of Takaras products, the crooked seller wouldn't be able to rip people off.

If the crooked company wanted to at least be honest about their sub-par shitty merchendise being sub-par shitty merchendise then they wouldn't package it in an exact replica of the Henkei packaging.

So no, that excuse is just not gonna fly with me.

I gotta agree with the rest of the people, don't blame CHMS, blame the seller.

I have no problem with KOs at all. They help fill a void for a figure you cannot find. Not to mention, a lot of the time CHMS is pretty damn expensive too. They for the most part make good stuff.

Plus, like some one else said, at least they marked it so you know you got a fake. So the battle with Ebay should be no issue what so ever.

You want a REAL AK47 or a KO version??? Sorry.........I feel bad you got ripped off man....however, I am totally fine with KOs. BUT, the seller needs to be upfront and honest and say it's a KO. If I see a seller trying to pass off a KO as an original then I know they can't be trusted.

Sounds like the ebay seller screwed you, not CHMS. Have you filed a claim against the seller?

    Link to the auction please?

Without people demanding for pieces of plastic, quick-buck KOs wouldn't exist, by demanding, in general, not just KOs, you are also supplying the KO companies with reason to make KOs. KO companies aren't people looking to "screw" the people of the world with "EEEVVIIIILLL", they are also people trying to find their way, and support themselves.

I'm not saying "LOVE ALL CRIMINALS", but I am saying, before you start getting pissed at the company, you should be more pissed at the middleman who tried to pass it off as legitimate, regardless of ignorance or an attempt at deception, THAT'S the person that wronged you, NOT the KO company.

CHMS goes out of their way to mark their products as CHMS. They are not trying to cheat YOU, they are trying to cheat HASBRO. The ebay seller was the one who cheated YOU.

    Yer...weird - I can't find it either when I search completed auctions...maybe it's because it's a french seller?

He's listed another one now, but way cheaper:
