If I don't know. I'd probably feel guilty for turning him in, or guilty for not turning him in. It's a lose-lose, either way.
I'd turn him in. He's probably going to get caught inevitably anyways, so he might as well get caught sooner and with me $500 richer. Also, I'm sure the $500 would help assuage any uneasy feelings I might have over no longer having a relationship with a criminal.
It's all about 4-LOM. both the Star Wars Bounty Hunter and the phrase 4 Love Or Money. I'd turn him in and bid on a Fort Max, baby! I'm innit ta winnit, Dawg!
Yes, because I love my brother; and love does not abide evil. It always hopes for the best and is protective of all. If it means a rift in the family, then so be it. I would be wrong of me to allow my brother to continue doing wrong. And I would hope that he would stop the hatred he feels that allows him to continue on his criminal path. ALL crime is hate-crime. Hatred of others, hatred of a higher authority, hatred of self. 'nuff said.
Never thought I'd be able to use this anywhere: Anyhoo, come one OP, what's the backstory here? What's your brother done, and when will we see him on TV?
If they can give you $500 just for telling them where he is, why not turn him in yourself and collect the whole bounty?
well you all already know my brother is a prick and deserves to be beaten to death with rabid monkeys.....so yea, throw the bum in jail
I'd turn him in in a heartbeat, even if he isn't a prick. As long as I agree with the law(s) that define the crime, I would turn anyone in for $500. I'd do it for $250.
I'd call my brother up and say "$500 bid to you prick, how much can you offer to keep me quiet as to your whereabouts?" Depending on the criminal activity, he might be quite cashy and desperate to keep it on the DL.
Damn, why didn't I think of that. Why should they collect the whole bounty? Again... good idea. Start a bidding war and see what you can get.
Get the $500, or, if you're felling the family love, tell your brother to get his ass to Canada before he's arrested.
