I am not in the path of Hurricane Earl since I am out in Oregon. But I have some good friends and extended family in North Carolina, Maryland and Pennsylvania. I am keeping all of them in my prayers. I know what it is like to live through Hurricanes...I have been in 5 of them since I am native to Houston, Texas.
Lose your netz...noooooooooooooooooooo!!! I couldn't stand that either... boredom can be fatal..for somebody else, hee hee...so let's hope neither of us loses the netz..oh and here's another cookie...dang they're good
Hurricanes are scaaary. Shingles flying by like razor blades. Atleast a tornado you can see it coming and somewhat get away from the damn thing. Or stormchase it whatever. Don't see too many hurricane chasers lol Hope everyone's safe
I just biked 10 miles in the rain, it felt so great! Only a few more hours til it hits hard! So when I was biking the only cars on the road were the Verizon trucks. Guess they are getting ready.
Down-pouring over here like a motherf***er! Holy shit! I just came back from school. It took me five seconds to get from the school to the bus and by the time I stepped onto it I was nearly drenched.
Aren't you north of me? We aren't getting anything here! Well not where I am, but East Hampton just opened up an evacuation shelter.
We dont get much natural disasters around these parts, but yall naming conventions for em really throw me off. Like, earl is such a harmless sounding name. If i was a meteorologist or whichever guy names these thing i'd be like, screw you earl, i dont care if you found him, i'm calling it hurricane mothra or mazinger or summat.
Still nothing here, the sky is like dark gray but I can't even hear any thunder. :/ I wonder what's happening. EDIT: Just checked the radar on weather.com, it's going to hit me hard in 15 minutes or so.
Fortunately I am far enough inland that it isn't a problem for me. A few wisps of light rain from the edges of the system were all I got here.
