Are the pegs on the missile launchers 5mm, or are they just some random custom size?

BTW, I like that he actually has a tomahawk (well, an axe, but still), so the name makes sense.

 

Just so you know since you seem to be dealing with icetwin65 quite often on Ebay, he's notorious for bidding on his own auctions with alternate IDs. He's been suspended countless times already under different well-known accounts like jenny, menasor, psykow, claudia, x2toy1980, etc.

Digging the transformation, what they do with the arms is pretty cool. Best helicopter TF in a long time imo. The head reminds me of Cybertron Crosswise.

This guy is really nice looking. I will be picking him up whenever I see him.

 

I would love to see him redeco'd as Armada Cyclonus. Can't wait to pick him up.

If I get him, I almost want to get two so I can remove the blades and give it more of an Aliens dropship look.

 

He look's like that Russian helicopter that was in one of the recent James Bond movies. I think it was Golden Eye, but not sure.
I like this one, wouldn't mind having him my self.

 

Okay review. Two gripes though: you didn't compare him to anything in vehicle mode, and you only compared him to Terradive in robot mode, a TF the general public doesn't have yet. Next time, compare your figures to other ones people already have so they get a better idea of the size of the figure.

 

That chopper wasn't Russian, it's European (French/German). It's called Eurocopter Tiger. And yes it looks a lot like it. His wings are mounted higher and he is a little bit wider, but still looks like the Tiger.

That's what I was thinking of. Wonder why I was thinking Russian. But yea, the Tiger, an awesome chopper. Is this figure available at local stores yet?

 

Damn...seeing that headsculpt and colors reminded me of G1 Pretender Waverider!

 

the Choppa joke got old after the third time it was used, it just grated with me within the review but during the intro it was pretty funny.

the figure itself looks really good though, glad to see that hasbro seem to have finally accepted that the 'push button to rotate blades' gimmick makes helicopter transformers suffer. part of the reason Tomahawk looks so good is that they decided to go without it.

This review has solidified my opinion - I really like the figure but not as an Autobot. If it gets the repaint/new head treatment into a 'con, it shall be bought.

 

Bought on sight. So far Hasbro is really making me poor with every release.

 

Now if it could just make an appearane as a Decepticon in TF3...
