1-Hasbro really has no excuse at this point to NOT give the next Leader Prime a retractible face mask.

2-I really like the new mold for the Fallen. I remember Hasbro saying at Botcon that he was going to be darker in his wide release. If it does turn out to be this purple/blue color I'll probably still pick it up but I would prefer a darker color.

Highbrow is an insta-buy. Both modes look great, and he'll be a great rival for Lugnut. Fallen is a really good remold, but I think I'll hold out for one in a more accurate deco. That would be perfect (either as a Takara release or some kind of exclusive).

 

I want Highbrow now.

Also, Smurfallen is too hilarious not to buy.

 

If we get Smurfallen we also need a Gargamel Prime.

 

Highbrow is a fantastic figure, he will be aces high battling Lugnut I'm sure.

Well, there's the Optimus Prime black version that came with the DVD from Amazon.jp, then there's Nightwatch Optimus Prime from the first movie... I'd say we're good.

 

Sigh, if only the Fallen was in accurate colors...

Also, Highbrow is awesome, definite pick-up.

 

The battlemask for Highbrow was discussed at Botcon. Needless to say, it's pretty f'n cool. Brings the figure together quite nicely.

Blueberry Fallen is a big pass until they redeco him to screen accurate colors. Maybe he makes a quest appearance in the upcoming Smurfs movie? :/

You'd think they would have given up on the Allspark Blue plastic on everything. They must have got a super awesome deal on buying a few hundred metric tons of the stuff because they seem to put it on every character repaint after the first.

 

HFD Voyager Highbrow and Blue Fallen...

Well, I appriciate Hasbro giving us a nice new detailed voyager mold. The alt mode must be from the same museum Jetfire was in... Pretty cool idea...

Its very unique (in the scheme of the Movieverse) and an equally unique conversion... I wonder about articulation, too...

But the colors are awefully terrible. I will not pick this figure up.

If you look at alot of the tailend of the ROTF / HFD figs, Hasbro went kind of off the deep end with the decos...

I would like to see the eventual repaint...


And the exact same goes for the fallen, exept one importand fact.

I HATE the alt mode. A Transformer (actually a Prime) who converts into a folded up wirey robot with a cockpit that can fly?

The head is neat and the spear is cool, too. Too little, to late...

But I for one will pass on (all three) the Fallen.

I feel kinda bad, too. Because the whole second movie was about him...

I'll spend my money on something else...

That goggle-mask isn't doing him any favors. Looks like a cross between a bug, a frog, and "the gimp".

Though the better pics of his uncovered face appeal to me more than before, so maybe it balances out.
