Not really News, but it falls into the Rumors Category I guess. I also did a forum search for the word "code" and didn't find any results relevant to this, so I assume everyone else overlooked this. I apologize if I'm wrong.

So I was browsing through the images from the Toy Fair at IGN, and I found one of HA Bumblebee repackaged for the HFTD sub-line Look at the image below... [IMG]

...not really that special compared to what else there was. But upon further examination, I found something odd: The sticker on it says "Code Inside". It's on LC Starscream, too. Any idea on what this code can be used for? Will it be used as part of another promotion similar to Recon Ravage? I guess we won't know until Hasbro either goes into detail about it or makes us find out for ourselves when the sub-line hits the shelves.

Probably to unlock content on Hasbro's website or something.

This isn't news. We knew about these codes back when the Toy Fair pics showed up two weeks ago. That is the whole point of the HFTD promo after all. It's not really a subline as much as it is a promotion. (I think. Someone feel free to correct me.)

It's for an online game, each HftD toy includes a code which unlocks a level of the game relevant to that matchup. I.e. Jungle hide and Bludgeon or Ratchet and Lockdown.

Reminds me of Cyber-key codes. :D  That was fun.
