just had a thought, how would human villains work in the movieverse?
and who would make awesome human villains, were it reasonable?

example(bad one off the top of my head) some human figures out how to take control of an autobot, and makes them go on a rampage and breeds hate against the autobots.

that's not really what anyone would go for, but it gets the ball rolling

Human villains could work in the movie universe because lets face it as a species we can be a horrible lot.

The problem I see with it is we have the wrong director for any sort of human villain. Bay has his strong points as a director but directing compelling villains just isn't one of his strong points. Outside of a Decepticon it's hard for most people to name any Bay villains.

Perhaps it's something they could explore in the comic books or novels.

We kinda had a sample of human villains in the first one when the Autobots went up against sector 7. I gotta agree though, that with the direction Bay is going human villains wouldn't work out. Besides, unless the said human villains were about to commit genocide or something the movieverse Autobots would probably sooner roll over than resort to killing a human.

    Professor Princess.

I'd love to see what Bay would do to her.

The Prequel Novel Veiled Threat had this, where Optimus was trapped in a contraption made up by a human cohorting with StarScream. So it is Plausable, but not practical.

    Sam.

There's your twist right there. And a new reason to have him keep being so important in these movies.

Eh, the transition from the first movie to this one shows they have too much too gain from working with them, and kinda did away with any chance for that anyways.

True, but after reading the novelization (so stop reading now if you don't want to be spoiled)

The Government, although working with the Autobots, still are at an uneasy truce because they believe that just the presence of the 'Bots on Earth is attracting dangerous Decepticons. The Leaders ask Optimus and his team to leave, but he refuses. (Good thing, you know, with Megatron rising, Devy, and everything else).

Thus, it's entirely possible by the end of the movie that the Government forces them to leave, hunting down the ones that wont, and becoming the "Villians" of the movie,...kinda..

    I dunno, I'm just babbling.

It is one of the odd things to the way the morality of the movie universe is set up. It's okay for an Autobot to kill a Decepticon if it would save human lives but what if an Autobot killing one human could save other humans?
