So aside from Alice & possibly the Pretenders (who shouldn't count anyway), one of the things we really haven't seen in the TF franchise are bots that have human alt modes. Now, while this would obviously make for some horrible & silly ass toys, it could be an interesting point to explore in fiction, and again... just think of the toys. :D

I mean, who wouldn't want a Bumblebee that transforms into Raf or an Airachnid that turned into uhh... Fowler?

As toys? Wouldn't like, because I usually find that toys of humans look hilariously derpy. I mean, just look at that Silas that comes with Bumblebee and Starscream or some of the HAs.

In fiction it might be ok.

That's pretty much how the licensed character figures work. Disney, that popcicle guy, etc.

    I agree, completely ridiculous.

Maybe that's why Bay did it in RotF.

Well, or even something like Ravage that goes from a horribly proportioned human into something like a cat or robot. They'd undoubtedly suck ass, but damn it'd be funny.

I know there's a woman joke in here somewhere :lol

It would look horrible like those mutation toys from the old ninja turtle line.

Hey, some of those were pretty awesome, at least the Donatello one. That thing came out in like 93 & still holds up today. The other ones not so much, but eh. :)

Also to Prime Jetscream, I don't think there's anything wrong with an unintentionally complex joke. If anything, those are often some of the better ones to comes about.

Isn't that essentially what Sari is? A Transformer with a human alt mode? Or, even if the specifics are a bit more complicated, that's what she amounts to.

As a whole, though, nah, I think I'd rather stay away from that. I like Sari as a one-off novelty, but a whole line of those things would sell like... well, what's the opposite of hotcakes? Coldcakes? They'd sell like coldcakes.

If they were done well I'd get a few. As long as the human modes actually looked human, instead of human shaped robot like the Crossovers figures.
