    Ummm... soundwave needs to come with Carly, to recreate a pivotal scene in the film. Soundwave threatens to crush Carly in his interior by transforming while she sat in the car form, unless Sam spies on the Autobots for the decepticons.

    The market maybe smaller, but the advertising still pays off, especially when it's used by a character as iconic as Soundwave. Also, it's not plugging that particular mode. It's also plugging the line itself (high end companies have often been better with this anyway), so it'll also attract the usual sedan/suv buyers too.

    Im more interested in a deluxe but if they can get the license for an HA there is no doubt they can get it for a deluxe.

    Nope. Hasbro was able to grab the license for Human Alliance Sideswipe while at the same time was not able to acquire it for the Deluxe or other smaller scale toys.

    ^ IIRC a Deluxe has shown up in listings too.

    I don't think there is a precedent for an HA car not getting a Deluxe. HAs are a little more niche and a little more pricey.

    Why on earth would this be the case? Sideswipe turns into a GM car.

    Pics would've been nice, I know. It's like this movie/toys are a heavily guarded Holy Grail. We don't even know if there will be toys of Wheeljack and Mirage.
