    Now that I've gotten Leader Sentinel Prime and Voyager Shockwave, HA Soundwave is my new most-anticipated DotM toy. I hope we see pics of it from Botcon this weekend.

    That's up to the car manufacturer to grant them the license, and judging by previous experience, European car manufacturers haven't exactly been keen to do so with Transformers.

    Audi may have been happy to get the R8 into the movie for some face time, but they may not have wanted to grant the license for a toy, or there simply wasn't enough time to wait for Audi's approval process, as the toys need to be locked down quite early in pre-production.

    i dont know about you guys.. but i dont really collect HA figures.. however if this Soundwave was a HA of ROTF mold (satellite)..then that would of been awesome and a nice scale.. (not really voyager or Leader)..

    but now since soundwave is a CAR!.. i rather just have him in deluxe

    Hoping that the toy has a Laserbeak that can protrude out of a chest compartment...as that is exactly how my HA Barricade is posed with Frenzy. REAL Decepticons have little pets who live in their chest.

    Soundwave will be the SLS spot on I think, I can't see there being a big issue, hasbro may not have wanted the audi fully so as not to pay them and not pay for the exact car so that they could cut corners and save money on a 40 second character but with two mercs this time around in the form of Wheeljack and Soundwave, I can't see them not securing the trademarks.

    A 77 Mercedes 210 4-door was my 1st car (was in the USAF & stationed in Germany), so this will be a must-have unless they royally screw something up.
