Nice review, but I'm still getting the deluxe version. Something about HA Soundwave still seems off to me.

I think I'll get this and pass on the deluxe, Unless I just get the Deluxe for his gun.

 

I predict like HA Jazz's legs being put on this guy by some customizer when it hits shelves.

I think if the Human Allience Soundwave has silver paint he would look WORLDS better! Of course we can always put some silver paint job on him ourselves! 

 

Got mine today. Forget about the lack of silver paint and über accuracy, this figure royally rocks.

 

Great video Review on Soundwave . Thanks for doing a review for us . I think the head on the deluxe figure looks better and its got way more detail on it . I think I will get both . But it needs a paint job big time .

I can see that there was no love for this toy on the part of the designers. I think it is a toss up between Barricade and Jazz for the best HA figure. Sound wave is just poorly done.

Both this and the deluxe look absolutely awful. Amazing Transformation, but becomes wayyyy to top bulky. The deluxe has too much back kibble.

I like how the door kibble CAN move up some. I dont mind the legs much at all now. The Torso, and arms.....Awwwhawww MAN! THAT IS SOOO COOL!

Im on the HA side. After going back and forth..love..hate...LOVE...MOAR HATE..This video seals it. This is one of the better HA's. Im not sure the dimensions of a real SLS AMG, but its a 2 seater..I would say its gotta be pretty close in scale to the others...right? I really dont know. Not a deal breaker for me. Im an HA junky...

What I AM seeing, is one of the most ambitious paint projects I will undertake. It REALLY sucks that AS im watching this video review...Im actually looking at how I can take the whole damn thing apart for paint.
The guys that say "I dont want paint on it..it'll scratch off and look like shit"...OK..that IS a very valid point. But the REASON I got into HA's is because of the "premium" look to them. This really does NOT give that impression just sitting there in the box. If you were a parent, and went to get your kid a NICE toy, and say there was this one and HA Sideswipe sitting there...you dont know much about them, except the Swipe 'Vette looks WAAAAAY cooler right?

WAIT DAMMIT! I dont comment on animated shit..So IM TAKIN my time on this soapbox....CHILL! Im an HA junky!

But to me, I just do not like the no exterior paint on a higher priced figure like this. I get the scratch thing, and it IS a valid point, but this is pretty shitty. It ALMOST makes me think I should wait to see what it in store for a repaint. You go to buy this thing for $35 bucks or so, and I will be there...in the store...looking at some SERIOUS work to paint this thing correctly.

Like right now..as I type this...there is a nerd war going on in my head..

After the in hand images of Deluxe SW, this one is looking better but I still don't think I'll get it. I might just go with out Soundwave.

man i love this figure it also helps this is my all time favorite transformer but i will be buying the HA and the deluxe it will be my first HA great review

 

Seeing an actual video review made me want this figure even more.

I'm all for Soundwave and collecting every incarnation of him....always has been my favorite Transformer.

I find as though his Deluxe gun would be more suited for HA and Laserbeak suited better for Deluxe, just because of the size. So that's my plan, get both...swap them out.

 

so when do you think we may actually see any of these soundwaves at retail?
